S.N.D.P. Higher Secondary School, Palissery is a unique venture in the field of education, promoted and managed by Sree Narayana Gurudevasabha of Poovathussery, Palissery - Kumbidy. The management is faithfully adhered to the ideal of “Integration” trying to bring about a harmonious blending of the spiritual values with the secular, modernity with heritage, competitiveness with co-operation, technology with humanism, self reliance and social sensitivity. As a centre imparting life skills to the children of the locality and of its eighbouring places following State syllabus, our institution occupies a unique position in the educational scenario.

The staunch followers of Sree Narayana Guru of Poovathussery, Palissery - Kumbidy of 38th number Kochi Branch put in effort to lay the foundation for a U.P. School. Thus in 1948 our school took its shape. As years passed, SNDP school progressed by leaps and bounds. In 1962, our honourable chief minister Sri. R. Shankar raised it to a high school. The school attained its full stature as a higher secondary school in 1998 by the sincere effort of the minister late Sri. V.K. Rajan. Shri. Vinodan P.P. took over charge as the manager and Smt. Shirley Simon is our principal and muraleedharan is our headmaster.
